Standards Development Organisation (SDO) at SCIC
SPRING Singapore, the National Standards Body, has appointed SCIC to manage the Chemical Standards Committee (CSC) with effect from April 2011 at the start of the new Standards Council 3 year term.
The Standards Development Organisation (SDO) at SCIC was set up in May 2011 to administer SPRING Singapore’s standardisation programme for the chemical and chemical-related industry under the Singapore Standards Council. The key functions of the SDO@SCIC will be standards development and adoption.
With SPRING Singapore’s support, SDO@SCIC has successfully managed the first CSC meeting on 8 July 2011 following four Technical Committee meetings in the month of July 2011.
