The Singapore Chemical Industry Council (SCIC) has a membership network of close to 170 companies including key multi-national corporations (MNCs), small and medium enterprises (SMEs), logistic service providers as well as traders. The SCIC’s Chemical Cluster Directory of Singapore (CCDS) allows members to source for business related information, including product, equipment and support services as well as government reports. The CCDS is available both in hard-copy and on-line through the CCDS eportal.
3. Information on Health, Safety and Environmental Best Practices
SCIC is the national administrator of Responsible Care (RC), endorsed by the International Council of Chemical Associations (ICCA), to promote the spirit, principles and practices of RC to the industry. Members would be able to gain invaluable information on processes and procedures of such best practices.
4. Latest Updates in the Chemical Industry
Each member will receive a complimentary copy of the SCIC’s quarterly newsletter, ChemDigest that provides the latest happenings in the local chemical industry, updates of international regulations, news on trade and economic development as well as reports on members’ events.
Members will also receive a free copy of SCIC-produced guidebooks providing useful guidelines and procedures. (Guidebooks on the Globally Harmonised System (GHS), Transport and
Handling of Dangerous Goods, Warehousing and Storage of Hazardous Substances, etc)

Priority invitations and concession rates are extended to members to attend trainings, seminars, workshops, conferences organised by SCIC.
