The guidelines of the Management of Hazardous Chemicals Programme which provides guidance on the proper management of chemicals, was launched by the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) and the Workplace Safety and Health Council (WSHC) in July 2011.
The SCIC will be organising the workshop on MHCP, which aims to help participants to understand the requirements of the 13 elements of the MHCP and to provide guidance on the establishment and implementation of an effective MHCP.
The Workshop on MHCP is awarded a total of 7 SDU points under the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programme for Registered Workplace Safety& Health Officers.
